The Key Bangkok
Tried to do a search on The Key Bangkok but found nothing. The hotel looks really good and pricing reasonable, but wondering if its guest friendly.
Anyone stayed in the hotel before and can provide some valuable insights?
Cheers

I did not stay at The Key, but went inside with my TG to ckeck it out in July. I can not confirm whether it is Girl friendly, but the people were very nice and did not react negatively at all when they gave us a tour of the room. Things could always be different when you are bringing 3 BG's home at 3 AM, but all indications were that this hotel is a good option. The location as has previously been described is between Soi Cowboy and NEP, but closer to SC. But walking distance to both.
The hotel is brand new, so the rooms look great in a typical boutique hotel sort of way. I was staying in the Swiss Grottino at the time, which is on the same sub soi. The familiarity of the Swiss Grottino won out, but I would probably recommend The Key just as strongly.

The Key Hotel as nice as it is, is not guest friendly. If your guest check ins with you and stays the entire time. Then no prob.
If you want to change the guest everyday/night, then 800 Baht joiners are charged even if u book a double room.
Damn shame in my opinion, such potential and the location too!

I stayed at the Key for one week.
Had about 4 different wonen in my hotel room (at same time). They allowed the women to come to my room without me being with them. Not once did I get asked for extra money and most of the time they did not even ask for the wonen's ID. I did give them a 500 bhat tip when I arrived so maybe this helped. Not a bad place to stay my room was tidy every day they washed all the pots I left out every day. The room was very big and all the girls I took back where very impressed. A good weeks holiday.
Mark.

The hotel started off in the begininng as guest friendly. Then they started charging joiners and if you have a girl with you; she must be the same throughout your stay.
If u intend to stay there. Then u will need to pay the 500 Baht joiner each day.
For the same price, there are other much better places to stay.
