ok - im arrving at bangkok airport new years day from samui.

I have 7 hours spare until my flight to singapore/brisbane.

What reccommendations do you have for leaving the airport?
ANything close by?? Massage etc? Cinema??

I will have been up all night as it is new yrs so will need to relax.

Store bags.. Taxi to lolitas or eden (or any other den of ill repute).. A cold beer.. Taxi back to airport..

It certainly depends on your arrival and departure times, but as LOS said Eden Club or Lolita's ... or a soappie if timing is right. Eden closes around 2200 and most soappies around 2300.
If you must stay in the airport there is a traditional Thai massage place on the transit side as well as several good restaurants. There is a good Thai between the "B" and "C" gates (forgot the name) and a good Sushi restaurant between "C" and "D" gates.
