Relaxing Hotel

Hello all,

My first post, so hello to everone and thanks for all the information.

I only found this forum recently which is surprising considering the time I spend on the net searching for info.

I am going to Los in Feb and will be in BBK for a few nights. I have booked a hotel for 1 night then I am going to Saraburi & Issan with my gf. May have to spend a night or two back in BBK before we head back to Phuket, so if anyone has recomadation of nice hotel I would like to know. As my gf will book in with me I dont think its important if its guest friendly.

Looking for 3 -4 star Not Silom, only because I ve been there a few times.

Also, a few Hotels I have stayed at that I can recommend, as good accomadation. Booked in with my Thai gf so sorry cant really say if they are guest friendly but accom and staff were good. Stayed at these Hotels in Sept 07

Royal Princess Lan Luang BBK 4/5
Cocount Village Patong 4/5
For Your Rresidence Silom 3/5 ( good for budget travellers)

The Royal President on Soi 15 (Sukuhmvit) has good rooms. I stay in their Catteya Suite which is a great room. Big enought to spread out with a top bathroom. Tv in both the bedrrom and living room.
Have stayed in their Saphire suite but it was old and shabby for the money.

Have booked a Cattleya Suite for March next year at AUD 115 per night (3199 baht).
Good location too near Asoke station.
If you like it its best to book it through a link on their website to compass.com as its cheaper than sawadee.com

All the best.

Smile

Thanks everyone for your response.

I have just returned after a great holiday to Thailand.

The first day was a bit of a shock, I arrived in Patong and went to meet my GF at the shop She works at. She had injured Her back the day I arrived and had been taken to hospital by ambulance. thankfully She has made a good recovery and was able to travel with me the folliwng day to BBK as planned. Visited Issan and then back to Phuket.
