concerts in Bangkok?
anybody ever go to a big concert in Bangkok?
they do get a lot o international acts but i cant seemt o find a place to look and see if there are any playing when i am in town anyone know where to look for concerts?

Apart from the Thai concerts, I've seen Linkin park, Red Hot Chilli Peppers (who were just awful), Coldplay, Futon and a few others.
thaiticketmaster is all you need for the big gigs.

Sorry, should have said, this is the link, but I see it now turns into Thai Ticket major, which had already been listed.
THAITICKETMAJOR : Your Ticket to Great Entertainment : Maroon 5 and dream theatre next two bands coming through. The thing with the Red Hot Chili peppers was that the sound was so awful, you could hardly tell what song was being played. I thought it was the venue, but the next week I saw Asanee Wasan in the same place and the sound was immaculate. I've seen them many times over the years, first time in 1985 and I've always liked them live. in a small venue they were great.

I went to see 50cent February 2006 in BKK. It was an outdoor conecert in Activ Square. Gates opened at 4pm and 50cent didn't come on stage until 10pm, christ it was hot. Awesome experience though.

pretty funny
so i was really looking into hitting a concert or something different one night in BKK
only thing i could come up with was this, i knew a little out of my gf's genre but it was close by and looked nice to have a few drinks her response because it does seems for a little more mature audience "oh my god, maybe you can take my mom!"" 55555 THAITICKETMAJOR : Your Ticket to Great Entertainment :

I have been to 3 concerts at the national stadium BON JOVI-METALICA-DEF LEPPARD also rod stewart at the queen sirikit centre al tickets purchased at robinsons store at sukhumvit road soi 19
best way to check if concerts are on during your stay is if a band you like is currently touring check to see on their website if they have any bangkok dates listed !
