I purchased several shirts from the Majestic Suits Taylor's. The quality was good and the price was reasonable.
I stayed at the MG hotel at the time so it was easy. What was nice about the place was that they did not have people out front forcing you to shake hands as you walk by.
I am no so sure you could find better, but I'll give this a thumbs up.
Aside from that I was sitting next to an Indian Taylor on a flight from Taipei to Bangkok and he told me that in Siam Central there were some tailors on the top floor that were quite good and who sold suits that were never claimed.

Damned if I know what a good tailor is anyway all looks okay to me but
I recently got a suit from George Custom Tailors in Soi 15 Home
6 pants and 1 jacket about 16k-18k baht which was more than I intended to pay but I am happy with the final product I think it looks okay and it feels comfortable. It only took about 36 hours which is more concerning than comforting but...
He has been there a long time and does a lot of work for Qantas pilots etc for what thats worth.
Enjoy.

I have used Vashis for years I was introduced to him by a higher up at the Embassy as the only honest Tailor in BKK. Walk down Soi 4 toward Annie's as your turn right towards Annie's he is the shop facing that hotel, you will pass several other shops that will try and get you before you reach that corner so stay the course. Not that it was important but he is very proud that he is the only ChristianTailor in BKK and has a dove on all his labels.

Royal Tailors on the corner of Soi 3.
I've used him for 15 years or so.
The owner if you are friendly will take you out drinking in NEP, he's legendary for it. Was a time when every girl in R3 knew him, though he's quieter now.
Yopu gotta remember these guys are not tailors though, they are cloth salesman in the form of a suit.
The tailors are all Thai and half the shops use the same guys. I have suits that are still wearable from Royal for years. He always complains that the workmanship is so good I don't need to buy more from him.

About 99% of the tailor shops in Thailand are "measurers," not tailors. The clothes you order are actually sewn in off-premise central sweat shops. But there are a few real tailors in Bangkok. One is Narin Couture on Sukhumvit Road 180, between Soi 8 and Soi 10 (it's closer to Soi 10). The owner, Peter, is Chinese Thai and has European training (worked in Paris before). He is a Zegna-certified tailor and all his stuff is sewn on the premises under his supervision. Becoming a Zegna-certified tailor is very difficult, sort of like winning a gold medal in the Olympics. Farang diplomats and business execs, as well as high-powered Thais, use his services.
The best fabrics in the world come from Italy - Ermenegildo Zegna or Loro Piana - and Peter does suits in both. They aren't cheap, expect to pay a minimum of $700 for a suit from Narin, but it is top quality fabric and tailoring and would cost at least US$2,000 in North America. He requires a minimum (that's minimum) of three fittings (he'll want five for a Zegna suit) and it takes 4-5 days to finish, assuming he has the fabric on hand.
One sign that he sells on reputation and quality is the absence of any touts for his shop.

just had 3 shirts made around nana plaza area by 2 different tailors. hadn't had the chance to 'season' them yet, but i'll give my opinion so far.
1st was classique fashion at soi 8, which was recommended by some people at tripadvisor. i had 2 shirts made there for 650 baht each, reasonably cheap. the quality of the shirt was not too bad, but damn if i know what good quality is. the cut was decent, i wanted slim fit, didn't get EXACTLY as i had imagined it, but after trying it on a few times, it's actually not bad workmanship (i think). i think they're worth checking out.
when i was walking towards nana plaza, this guy kept asking me to go to a tailor. he wasn't pushy, he was actually pretty friendly so i agreed to go. it was just across the street at soi 3. it's called Max's Fashions. apparently, it's one of the very few thai tailors. according to the owner, there's only 2-3 authentic local tailors around. he says that when you're in thailand, you should go to thai tailors, not indian lol.
anyway, his shirts were 800 baht, but i managed to negotiate it down to 700 baht. i made only 1 shirt, but he agreed because he thinks i'd come back for more. frankly, upon first testing, the cutting appeared superior to classique's shirts. but after going home and trying it on again, i think the cutting is still pretty good, but i am starting to feel that the cotton is inferior to classique's.
on the way back, i went into a few shops to ask for prices. there was a particular shop which struck me, it's called Boss Avenue. the shop looked nice so i went in to ask. the indian guy was very friendly and not aggressive, and he showed me a sample of his shirts, about which he waxed lyrical. i had a glance at the shirts, and yes it did indeed look very professionally done, and at the time when i was looking at it, i thought it look like a very expensive job. he says he'll let me have a shirt at 850 baht. i think i might try it the next time i return to bangkok.

For the love of God don't go to George Tailor.
The man is a shyster.
I had him make me a suit and after getting it home it needed some work done to it.
So I contacted him and he agreed to fix the problem.
When I arrived he agreed there was a problem and called the cutter around (the man who actually made it, or had a worker make it).
He saw the problem and immediately said in Thai he didn't want to touch it.
Said it was my body with the problem.
I can assure everyone reading this that is a load of baloney.
George said I should position my body in a way that makes the suit presentable.
In other words I would have to walk around like the Hunchback of Notre Dame for the suit to look decent.
Also he said he doesn't like to alter cuffs. He likes them long.
For a suit to look classy you need to show cuff.
Anyway, I walked out and hopefully learned from the mistake.
If you want a suit aimed at tourists who won't return by all means go to George.
If you want a Tailor who wants repeat business, and won't fill you with shit, go somewhere else. Basically a place where little helpers won't try and get you into the place to buy their crap.
Here is a photo of the offending garment - Notice how much the button and the button hole are not aligned, as well as the lapels:
The man has no pride in his work, why should you spend your money on him. He doesn't deserve it.

Some really dodgy workmanship(if one can call it that) there.
