Temple Tours

Do I need a tour guide or can i just take a taxi look around and then taxi to next place?

If thats not a good idea, can someone recommend a tour company and what should i try to haggle price to to not be scammed.

if it´s your first time in Bangkok i think the guided tours from your hotel are fine.
Just go to the desk of your hotel and book what you want to see.
If you don´t stay in a hotel go in to a travel agency which you can find everywhere.
If you want a " privat tour guide " go to nana plaza or soi cowboy and ask a girl you like. She will show you her and Bangkoks temples aswell.
