i would like to hear any opinions on anyone that stayed over in this area near the Mandarin Hotel, Penninsula and such

i was thinking of staying near Sukhumvit again, but it just doesnt hold the appeal for me anymore

how is this area, must have some good restaurants and lounge bars around that area, no?

I STAYED IN THE MANOHARA HOTEL AROUND 8 YEARS AGO its in the same district you are not so far away from silom/surawongse roads so PATPONG IS NEARBY

the manohara hotel is a nice hotel with a nice pool i think its about 1600 bhat a night those other places you listed i would think would be high end over 5,000 bhat a night

AS I SAID IT WAS A LONG TIME AGO I STAYED THERE but that trip advisor is a bullshit site full of proffesional moaners i once booked into a hotel in blackpool and then saw that site where there were 3 bad reviews once i got there had no problems whatsoever with the place it was spotless.

leering men watching her swim indeed thats thailand for you honey if you believe the uk press we are all a bunch of paedophiles and rapists that go there the moral to that point is dont ever go on what you read either online or in the press.

i would not go there anyway as bangkoks attraction to me is soi cowboy so i stay close to there.

I stayed at the Penninsula 2yrs. ago , its a great hotel , I loved breakfest by the river and the lanuch across the river to Taksin bts,as most everthing is on the other side of the river. My gf came by and was escorted upstair by security. Not sure about bgs. Nice rooms, nice veiws, high recomend for hotel. $$$$
