Bangkok

Will be in bangkok around the 18th/19th april for about 4 nights, and wanted to know where is the best places to go for some night time entertainment (bars, clubs, gogo's etc).

Have been to phuket numerous times, but have never been to bangkok before so this will be my first time, is there anything i should know about this place before i arrive......

Any info will be greatly appreciated!!!!!

Recently spent 2 weeks in Bkk.....Kings Place Go Go Bar in Patpong was easily the best GoGo Bar l went to.

Went to a few of the "Upstairs" venues in Patpong....but l would stay away from them in future....the one's l visited were all disappointing.

Carousel in Nana Plaza was quite good....and they have a nightly "shower" show with 2 girls dressed in school uniforms.

Only thing l would warn you about is letting Taxi Drivers organise "Cheap Sight Seeing Tours"....better off going thru an Agent.

If it is the first time I would recommend a brief overview and bar hopping the first day/night or so to get a feel for the places and the scene. Then you can spend time at the bars/areas you liked.

E.g. Make a tour of Nana Plaza, Soi Cowboy, Patpong and Soi 33 bars. I did that my first time in BKK except for the Soi 33 I still havent visit but I wish to see next time I go to BKK.

I have my first time in Bangkok in july 2004 and visit this places Nicke say

Nana Plaza, Soi Cowboy, Patpong , i can promise you will not be disappointed
for me i like Nana plaza best ....

im not a go-go guy, but patpong has by far the best go-gos in LOS. so many hot girls

i agree with jonas nana is for me the best.has some great gogos,2nd floor hollywoods(sure it was called that) was good.has nightly shows as well.also first gogo on ground floor on right as you walk into the plaza was great.tons of girls most stunners.
bkk can get pricey but is always great for a few days.4 days for me would be ideal.i might even be around bkk them dates,i will be spending a few days on various dates thruout april there.
