Soi 33, Dvd's & Hot

HI In Bangkok at moment, been here for 24 hours and very eventful it is as well!!!
For those of you into football me and a couple of mates were in soi 33 last nite in a bar called Lookie Lookie and who else but Sir Bobby Robson was in there with a few mates we got a photo with him and he seemed to be enjoying himself!!!!

Has anyone bought some of the dvd copies from MBK have just purchased 1 to try out in the dvd player at hotel before purchasing any more just wondered if they are any good, for only 130 Baht i cannot beleive they will work to be honest!!!!!

And yes it is really hot and with all the traffic and stuff makes it feel even hotter!!!!

Off to do a river cruise and then spend some time in China town followed by Soi Nana tonight!!!

Those copied DVDs usually work, as long as they were copied correctly (region free). I did not purchase any from that location but the ones I did buy work well.

I had purchased a couple in Hong Kong that were not made region free and would not play in my DVD player at home here in the US. (I had to copy them myself and take the region encoding out, still good since I couldnt find the movies here)
