The Ashes, Eng v Aust
Arriving Bkk on Sunday 12th, is there anywhere that I may get to see some of the cricket in Bangkok. Its not very often that us English hammer the aussies, so I would love to see our boys be the best in the world.
Must be on in an English bar somewhere.
Thanks

It'll all be over by the 12th - that's a Monday. If your watching it on Sunday, on TV look out for me! I'll be there!

Gullivers will be putting on a special menu for you boys
: crow and soggy chips
No doubt you will get your fill.
Also interesting to hear the Poms fielding subs for 5th test
will include J Gatlin, A Powell, A Zakari and F Obikwelu.
When quizzed as to whether these four had any knowledge
of cricket or indeed were they even entitled to play for
England, Michael Vaughan the England cricket captain
stated "We play within the spirit of the game. These
fellows deserve to be Englishmen, and therefore who
are we to deny them the opportunity to represent
England."

Ah we have an Australian who cannot take losing the Ashes to a far superior team. The new kids are on the block and will rule for years to come.
The spirit of the game is to win and as in any sport, teams will do whatever it takes within the laws of the game.

England are 2-1 up and deservedly so.......maybe Australia can win the last test and draw the series.....but they will not if they let little things like substitute fieldsman worry them

If Jason Gillespie had not nicked the attempted bean ball
whilst desperately trying to avoid certain death then Australia
would be 2-1 up
My view is ,as at 5 Sep 2005, England have not won the ashes.

I spend hours composing replies to questions
from AD about chinatown, then about Kata Thani
and "submit reply" comes back not logged in or
not permitted or not registered.
Yet these rubbish posts go straight through
WTF is going on

Lets all enjoy the game, it does show that without Glen Mcgrath, the Aussies struggle. This series it has been left to Warne and Lee to keep you going, whereas all the England bowlers have been magnificent. Must be our best strike force ever.
Must be the most exciting series ever

And if your Aunty had balls she would be your uncle.
Your prediction may and hopefully will be correct......time will tell.

Stop making these big mouth statements
Australia are still in a position to retain the Ashes and infact all London Bookies are making them favourites to do just that.
