If you are not a little blown away by the final scenes of this movie, then I would suggest you check your pulse to make sure you are still alive.
A tour de force perfomance by Christian Bale. Freddy Rodriguez is right there with him. Good supporting job by Eva Longoria.

Bale has been very impressive..
What he did for the Machinist was nuts.. And while it was a comic story he made the best 'Bat' movie so far.. Will have to hunt this out..

The mentally unbalanced character he portrays, and the quality of Bale's performance, evoked, in me, the memory of Travis Bickle and a young De Niro, except that this movie is a totally contemporary depiction of life in South Central LA.
