Sopranoes II

I all over! Wow. What happened? Oh yeah. Wow.

The music. The early hint with "The Twighlight Zone" TV show on in the safe house. The tension with 5 minutes to go in the restaurant. Tony is going to get whacked. Who is going to do it? And then....

Wow.

I was reading a write up and read:

"Although the series ends "elegantly and probably exactly the way it should," it doesn't close the door on the idea that it could re-emerge as a feature film."

I wasn't even thinking about a follow-up. I was thinking more along the lines of it just being elegant. It will probably get alot of criticism for a vague ending but it got to me. Perfect.

David Chase was always goign to make this a poetic ending. He was more interested in the atristry than anything
that is not a negative view i am talking, just my thoughts

at times throughout the series, i felt that he was pushing the artistic side a little too much but i think it ended appropiately last night
to me, he was trying to say it was always about family. no matter how screwed up, how much different people's lives are, in the end, it comes down to family. which also ties into the whole mafia family vs real family contrast

I couldn't have said it better myself. The finale was brilliant! For those that wanted closure or and ending really never understood what the Soprano's was all about.

3 years down the road.............. Soparano's - The movie.

i just watched it again
you have to watch it a second time and realize how brilliant Chase was when making the mundane so exciting
that was the most intense bad parallel parkign in the world!!!

when you watch it the 2nd time you realize that it could be possibly just a regular night at Holtson's(which ive been to) or mayube it isnt

also, for me, I've been watching the re-runs on A&E
jeez, some of the one-liners out of their mouths throughout the whole series, just hilarious!!!

this is actually a pretty good theory i read
i never knew about the oranges though

I knew that Tony was in trouble when he went to see Carm and ate an orange. Oranges equal death on the Sopranos. Then, think back to the conversation Tony and Bobby had on the boat when they were at the lake. They talked about what it would be like to be whacked. Bobby said 'maybe it all just goes black' and they agreed. That conversation was shown again in flashback last week.

"So Tony's sitting in the restaurant. Every time someone comes in, the bell over the door rings, and Tony looks up. We then see the scene from his perspective. The guy at the bar that's been glancing at Tony goes past him to the restroom. Meadow starts to come in the door and the bell rings. He looks up and it goes black. I think the guy shot Tony from behind and his perspective went to black. Then no music for the credits.

The guy at the bar goes to the bathroom and gets a gun like in the Godfather.

Or

Nothing happened. I think there's a movie coming. Chase says no but money talks.
