Funny you should start this thread George, i had been told this film was awesome by a friend but i'm damned if i can get a copy here in Phuket. Went to my usual tailor bloke yesterday and he not heard of it, then proceeded to try quite a few others all to no avail. Any BM's based here in Phuket if you find a shop carrying a copy of this film please pm me with location of shop...
Cheers
MWM

it's a very intresting film ,especially if you are of an age that can remember the clubs of essex during the 80's/90's.

Watched it yesterday. Remember to watch it more like a eighties action flick than a serious crime-drama...If you can do that it's quite entertaining. Very disjointed and exagerrated, but a wild pace with lots of violence and brutality as GL mentioned above. Must also have the world record for the use of the word cnut...
All old hands on this board will certainly recognize themselves in the different styles of music and clothing in the movie, from the late 70s to the mid-90s as the story progresses.

Have seen both.
Frodo did a good job in Green Street but the Foot Soldier looks and acts like the real deal...especially as a Club bouncer attending to the crowd...as mentioned it spans several decades and some might identify with the aging central characters as their grip on their world starts to slip...

i was a regular at the "epping forrest country club" in the 80's that is feautured in the film and these guys ran the door, but was oblivious to the goings on. made the whole film doubly intresting for me.

Mate of mine lent me a copy of the film, I had´t even heard of it before that. Showed to a couple of guys at work who remembered the story in the press about the triple murder featured in the movie.
