Hi Lars

I have read a few fiction books based in Thailand. Have a look at books by John Burdett, they are novels based mainly in bangkok.. Bangkok 8, Bangkok Haunts and Bangkok Tattoo are the 3 I have read of his. These were available on Amazon very easily!!! Amazon.com: Bangkok 8: A Novel: Books: John Burdett

Another is Christopher G Moore.... here are some e books I found before also http://www.phuket-info.com/forums/ge...istopher+moore

An author I can only seem to find in LOS is David Young... Last time in LOS I purchased Sukhumvit Road and Fast Eddie's Lucky 7 A-Go-Go. I enjoyed both of these and will hopefully pick up a few more on my return!

I think you arrive around the same time as I do... So I may bring the David Young books with me and you are more than welcome to have them! Here is a website you can order a good selection from Thailand book shop - Learn Thai But if you arrive next month you might be in LOS before the book arrives!

Hope this helps!

'Because of Love SMS'. I have seen the book, girl in patong had it with her last trip but didn't bother looking at it. Don't know the publisher though. Basically a guide for sending Loving SMS messages and I'm sure received by many BM's taken straight from this book. Scroll down on the link has examples.

I have been looking for a few more of this series! I looked around Manhattan yesterday but couldn't find any in Borders.

The prices on Amazon for some of them is stupid... They are asking $50 used for Comfort Zone!!!!!

hey lars, there is a bookshop in soi bangla down the beach end that has a good selection of thai books, just inside the door. money number 1 and still number one are a good read, they might save you a bit of money along the way and give you a good laugh as well. thailand fever gives a great insight into thai/west relationships. i agree with sarsbuk, john burdets' books are a very good read. good luck.
