i love "top gear" and have read a couple of clarksons books, so really am a fan, but i thought this show was awful. out of intrest i wonder how much the show cost to put together considering all the damage they caused that would have to be put right after filming..it seemed a huge waste.
i'd rather have seen them tearing around in some fast cars!

I did think at the end we would see an army come in and turn it into a nice garden...obviously they did clear up the mess and put right the damage once the cameras were off and Redgrave must have been in on it. Surely he would have been a tad more animated when he saw the damage if was really a surprise!

Total waste of money that would of been a lot better spent on the actual charity was supposed to be rasing money for.

You could see the whole thing was badly scripted and the 'stunts' planned well in advance. Makes you wonder who is writing the normal show.
