Your favourite movies?
I read Ally's post and he mentioned Aliens, Predator and Independence Day.
Aliens is a great movie, but in my opinion Independence Day is just great effects and nothing more. (As many movies from Hollywood tend to be)
I cant remember all great movies but some of my favourites in the past...
Die Hard
Blade Runner
Back to the future
Terminator
Lethal Weapon
Total Recall
Braveheart
Pulp Fiction
Saving Private Ryan
The Silence of the lambs
Schindler's list
Apocalypse Now
Seven
El Mariachi
Desperado
City of god (Very good)
And my favourie animated movies;
Lion King, Pocahontas, Finding Nemo, Shrek, Polar Express
And one of the better ones this year: Hotel Rwanda, Ray Charles
I have seen so many movies, it is difficult to remember all of them.

In no particular order..
All round classics
Apocolypse now (not the Redux cut)
Lawrence of Arabia
Scarface
Citizen Kane
Momento
The Long Good Friday
Funnies
Blues Brothers
Rocky Horror Picture Show
Hell there are so many.. From Kurisawa to Spielburg.. Basically I love cinema and film as a art and story telling medium.. I dont have much time for the 'lets blow stuff up' that seems to be the safe option for film funding of the last few years.. I think it is getting a little better with more 'intelligence' being added to the action genre but it isnt my choice really...

I have to add I really enjoy watching Thai movies, they are different from western movies and you also learn more about Thailand and how they think.
The two recent ones I saw at cinema were Tom Yam Goong (action) and Yam Yasoton (comedy).
