hello mongers,

First i want to introduce my self, i`m 30 y old from france and spend some time mongering in thailand a few time, this time i wanted to try another country aboard, i choose cambodia-Phnom penh

i came three days ago and glad to be back in thailand.....
well, first day i arrived in the morning flight from bangkok and spend some time sleeping in my room at Flamingos, i met a young motorbike taxi in front of the hotel, as he says he knows all the bars he propose me to go to ROSE BAR,

Here we go, many ladies there it`s a pub style with a pool in the back, immediately a girl comes to me i think she had the biggest boobs of all my trip,
little chatting, laughing, she tells me she don`t go longtime cause she has to see friends, no problem i `ll come back the day after.
Here again i go to her bar this time we play pool,we ate,we laugh,and we decided to go to SPARK a disco with some live music mostly cambodian customer with over loud music,
we danced a little and drink hot beer because they drink beer with ice there ,

Then i ask her to go to the hotel with me to have some fun , she tells me that she have to meet with some friends and she don`t want to go with me, well after a 10 dollards barfine it was hard to swallow, i let here in front of the disco and headed back to the ROSE BAR to claim my barfine, the woman in charge tells she will never give me back the barfine and after she heard the story she decided to call the girl on her cell, apparently she was off line but she tried an old trick on me, she took two phone with the first one she called the second pretending she was talking with the girl it takes 1 minutes and she tells me the girl don`t wanted to go with me because i had bad words
with her, well if telling a prostitute to go with me to have sex is bad words.....

It never happened to me in thailand i guess there is a first time for everything, i don`t let this ruin my night then i hit WALKABOUT it`s very late no many girl, but i wanted to have fun this night so i took a girl for short time she wanted 20 dollards it`s not the kind of prices i have heard before on this board or others, no fun in the bed she was waiting for the end....

I went to SHARKY too,it was maybe midnight i could count the ladies on my hand and not very sexy ones,i talked with a lady and she agreed for 20 bucks
longtime, now i can see what kind of girl go for 20, she only wanted one shot before sleeping if i wanted a second shot she will go just after for longtime price......

I went to SOPHIE the bj bar, let me tell you that`s a crappy bar with ugly girls, first with the red light i was thinking about vampires, ok it`s cheap 10 dollards short time in a crappy room.....

I went to CASA at 22h00 empty, at 00h30 empty

I went to HOLIDAY CLUB at 23h00 empty

I went to HEART OF DARKNESS at 1h00 every cambodia in there but no free girls

I went to MARTINI first night i met a sexy girl she was 18 yold she told me i was too young....
second one she agreed for 25 bucks from 30 ( by the way the prices in there is 30 bucks not 20....) we headed to flamingos the staff don`t wanted here to come to my room because she don`t have her id, maybe she looked young but every others girl were`not asked for it....

i would say all in all i don`t think it`s cheaper than thailand maybe the same prices than the beerbar scene in thailand with poorer choices

For those looking for something else than thailand i would say just go PHNOM PENH maybe 3 days and you will be happy to go back to THAILAND....

Seems things a bit mixed - as I know Major Tom well and he was there last month and now your report. Would seem PP has changed a lot since I was last there in 2003. I never experienced the girls not wanting to go with me that seems to be common now there.

Sharky, Martini were heaving with girls - I didnt bother with the beer bar type places as this is not the kind of place to find girls in Cambo - the set-up is diffrent from Thailand - well after this I will stick to the Philippines - no problems there.

how about havin some fun,seems like u were hunting them girls down,how about chillin and letting the girls come to u,then u might not get played.
id be pissed if i really liked the girl,but for me she has to be into it aswell ,spec if im LT ing her.if not id rather she left before the night went on.

i stayed over 10 days in total in PP alone,not one minute did i wish i was back in LOS,i suppose its what u make of it,but for me was a great adventure,and seeing something different is all part of that.

it seems that guys that make the girls their main and only objective are the ones that end up being disappointed
i never approach a girl 1st and i have never been disappointed, not once
i just go out and have fun

yeah, i must admit mongering was my only purpose ( like many of us i guess )

The thing is i stayed only 4 days, maybe not enough, what i've seen don't encourage me for more,

I'm used to go out alone on " hunt mode " that's right, most of the time i take my time to choose a lady, even by moving from place to place on quest for some feeling, this time ( march, sunday to wednesday, maybe not the good time ? ) even by moving all over PP, there were a lack of girls, i know now that's not my scene... i don't regret it, life is made by experience

and thats your choice, and im not saying anything bad about it
but it does seem that these are the guys that end up disappointed

im no saint, i am also looking for ladies, but i sort of make that my secondary objective
it does amaze me-i was in PP 1 1/2 years ago, went to every place you said and had a great time and i was alone, liek yourself

I can understand this story as i also had a bad experience in Martini with Vietnamise girls cost me 40 dollars in total the first girl to be fair was ok but the other tried to fleece me, i'm no fool and told her to get on her way but never the less it made for a bad night and put me off Vietnamise girls for ever. When back in Cambodia i would not go with Vietnamise girls again.

However you need to seek out the better bars there is no quick easy fix, but then that's what makes it good because there is a bit more work to be done rather than everything put on a plate for you.

I found a bar called 104 which had some really nice girls all dressed in black and then the next night all in red very sexy with good music as well.

Also hows this for a story one girl liked me so much in another bar that she told me if i beat her at pool she would stay with me and f**k me for free she was honestly not bad looking i won the game and true to her promise that's exactly what she done.

How many Thailand girls would give you that as a deal?

I find the Kuhmer girls to be so friendly not pushy which was nice.

On the part of Sophia Bar for a BJ sure its a run down place but for 10 dollars a girl blows you no comdom and you come in her mouth? i had no complaints here being not too interested in her face more her ability to give a good blow on both occassions i visited, i was very happy with service received.

However I can say and understand it would be easy to have a bad time in Phnom Penh as its not set up in the same way as Thailand but this is why i liked it so much you have to work hard to find a good place but when you do they really appreciate you more and give you a genuine time.

I got on so well with my driver a good honest guy whose father was killed by the Kuhmer Regime back not so long ago.

He is poor with three beautiful children living in a humble home for a few hundred pounds i brought him a market stall seeing his wife cry with joy is something i will never forget.

I left Cambodia a better person i may long forget the girls but i will never forget Kun and his family.....''

As usual you make a good point here... For me to go on holiday just to "get laid" isn't worth it and you are correct to say that these are the people who get disapointed. i think I'm like you.... Go away and see what happens but forst and foremost is to have fun. Anything else is an added bonus but i always set myself a plan of things i want to do, and mongering does not appear (if i don't get anything then i can come back not feeling disapointed then lol)

Oh, where are my manners here... epicurien Hi and welcome to the board. My comments are not ment to be offensive to you at all just my opinions and if i have offended you then i apologise in advance. How much of PP did you see? I am still thinking of gpoing there, most probably next year, to see somewhere new. What sort of playes are worth visiting? Any info would be appreciated.

I visited Cambodia twice last year and I really loved the Khmer girls. I also found out the hard way that not all the girls will come back to your hotel, I learnt it's best to raise the subject before you start buying ladydrinks. My brother is a regular at Shanghai,one of the better hostess bars on Street 51, he says only a handful of the 20 odd girls working any night are available.
I really hit a lot of the bars there, I had the aid of my brother's Khmer driver, and would recommend Sharky and Zanzibar which is just accross the street from the Rose. Like the earlier poster I didn't like the Rose, for the simple fact that the owner (who happens to be French) is too cheap to use the aircon.
I actually found a girl over there that was so much better in bed than anything I'd had before it's scary. I've kept in touch by email and will have a 3 day excursion to PP on my next trip to LOS, won't even be leaving the hotel room.

I stayed in PP in april for 3 days, during my 2 week stay in Pattaya. 1 week in pattaya 3 days in PP and the rest back in Pattaya, stayed at walkabout hotel. Havent actually been anywhere appart from heart of darkness and martini but really enjoyed myself and even considered extending my 3 days, but unfortinatly couldnt change the flight.
Martini was full of girls and not so many men, maybe 10 in the whole of martini, so was spoiled for choice, but never really took any1 because i stayed with the same girl from day 1.
Heart of darkness is a different matter, very crowded and cambodian men always watching you, so you best of keeping to yourself.
Alot of friendly tourists that are always up for a chat.

Had a girl at Sharkys in Phuket tell me that if I won the first game of connect 4 she would go with me for free, if I lost I buy her a drink. I am quite good at connect 4 usually only lose the Mamsans and the 7 year old kids that play you for money on Koh Samui....those kids are good and if you win they just run off so that is a lose/lose set up I guess....haahha!

Well obv. I lost this time.....^_^
