Thumbs up Phils ST Visa Changes

From a friend in Phils ....

Memorandum Circular No. MCL-08-003 dated 22 January 2008, a no visa required temporary visitor arriving in the Philippines who wishes to stay here for more than Twenty-one (21) days but less than Fifty-Nine (59) days may apply for a visa upon arrival at the airport of entry upon payment of US$ 50 visa fee plus Php 510.00 for the Express and Legal Research Fee. Requirement for admission and application of visa waiver is a valid passport and a return ticket.

So if under 21 days these - What are the visa requirements for Australians wishing to visit the Philippines as tourist? are still the requirements or have I missed something?

Thinking of a trip to AC later in the year.

If under 21 days then you'll get a free visa on arrival for 21 days - I posted the above info for those who might want a longer stay and dont want the hassle of going to immigration to extend their visa beyond 21 days.

PS: You can stay for 18 months for ~ $500!

Cheers, would love to stay 18 months-or longer. Food for thought down the track, seems much simpler than LOS.

why do so many people muck around tryin to get into thailand then? sounds like this is so much easeir. I wonder if a guy had a TG if she could go for the 500 visa too.
