Chiang Rai accommodation
Hi
I know this is the Chiang Mai forum, but as Chiang Rai just up the road.... Does anyone have any recommendations for Chiang Rai hotels / guesthouses, up to 1500 baht / night, i shall be visiting in early May with TG. Thanks Nick

Have you had a look at the selection on this site
http://www.phuket-info.com/hotel/chiangrai/index.php I stayed at a place out of town a sort of backpackers place ok but not that comfortable, the Wiang inn is in the center and looked pretty good from the outside. I have now read it has a massage place out back extras included, but then you will have a gf with you,

Yes, i'd had a look at that before. Came across http://directrooms.com at the weekend, they look pretty useful too.

for anybody looking for a place in chiang rai, i stayed at Baan Warabordee
http://61.19.32.120/tour/customer/Ba...e/home_eng.asp huge room with the biggest double bed i've ever slept in. en suite, air con, cable tv, five minutes walk to the night bazaar. 400 baht per night.
