Cannot book flight with NokAir on Internet
I've seen that there is a special 3 baht promotion (+ 500 baht taxes) for a flight to ChiangMai.
I'd like to book from Italy, but it seems that there is no way to do it !
The payment form on internet requires that I have a thai mobile phone number...
Can anyone help me ?
Do you know an alternative ?
Thanks in advance

Have you tried either:
1. Sending an e-mail.
2. Phoning them direct.
I'm sure one of the above, if not both, are on there website.

I have read the booking conditions, and cannot see anywhere that states you must have a thai tel#
Nok Air - How to Book
Have you tried to ring Nok Air on 02-900-9911 and pay with credit card?

If all you need is a Thai mobile number is make one up.
If it goes through ok but when you turn up they ask about your phone say you lost your mobile and had to buy another.
If any problem your only 500Baht out of pocket.

Sounds like it might be one of those cases where they have a webform with required fields and won't let you get to the next page without entering the number. I've encountered similar can't remember the site but they were doing some kind of format check on the tel field that wouldn't let me enter a UK one.
Maxghibaz don't worry about it as the post above suggests just enter a made up one or 0800000000 or your home country # if it will work. All you need out of them is the booking confirmation/printable receipt which I'm sure you'll get on the site once the payment is completed.

I have managed to book a return flight for a friend of mine using an Australian credit card from Chaing Mai to BKK from Australia without a problem.
I had to delclare that I was only paying and not travelling and then had to give her details as the traveller
If you have a friend in Chiang Mai, get their contact numbers and use them, there should be no problem.
By the way this was with Asia Air

Nokair started this around last october (sorry to the pedants if I have the exact date wrong). They would not accept international credit cards. You had to go through the whole rigmorole of sending faxes with credit card details, passport etc and frankly it wasn't worht the effort. They have probably lost a fair bit of custom to Air Asia and 1 to go over this.

As Nok Air are part of Thai Airways (I Think), they have the same regulations that you are talkng about for their international fares that you are experiencing with Nok Air.
Seems it is the same regulations for their local flights as they have with their international flights.
Singapore Airlines do the same with their International Flights that are booked online direct
Might pay to look at other local airlines on the same route

I think you will find that Nok is a purely domestic airline.

They only started that service in June 2007 , and I wouldn't really think one flight per day to one city is what most people would class as an "International Airline".
