West CM Hotel for Next Week.
Looking for quiet convenient hotel to the west (Airport side) of CM for next week ~1000 Baht/night would be ok - NOT going for touristic stuff/nightlife - checking out schools there.
Cheers. (Read threads already but the hotels commented on are in nightlife/central city areas).

Top North Hotel ( not the Guest House) is just by Tha Pae Gate, top of Loi Kroh Road. Runs about B800 a night. Not 4 star but would do for a night or 2. If it doesn't appeal there's a couple of more upmarket places within walking distance. Also Lai Thai guest house is OK, again just down from the Gate.

Montri Hotel
This one is good too and also at Tai Pae gate.Just down the road from the Hash Pub.
 It is about time you went to school.

Orientate your map- you'll find its not far out!! Airport is SW from Tha Pae Gate, approx 10 -15 minute drive and closest for hotels. Very quick to get onto outer roads from there. Anywhere else you will get bogged down in city traffic. Will bring you a map on Sat.
