Phuket Thailand - Problems with Web-cam and Norton firewall

I have to turn off my firewall to watch web-cam, my firewall is Norton.
Anyone who knows how to fix this problem?

This is the only web-cam that i have this problem with.

There is a setting in Norton Configuration, it is something about "referer" that Norton filters (Why?), you have to turn that off.

I think somebody posted a screendump of that option in Norton long time ago, since you are not the first one with this problem.

Yes I have same problem but even after turning off the firewall on Xp and on Norton, I still cant see the webcam....

Maybe its a blessing in disguise for me though..........

I use Zone Alarm(free version--NOT PRO!) and AVG anti virus(free)

Norton will cause problems. Do a google search, and find the directions for fully removing Norton.

I turn off my XP firewall.

I have Norton , AVG and XP firewall , only problem I have is that I occasionally cannot get web-cam but find if I "refresh" page this sorts out the problem. Haven't "messed" with settings as I am computer illegitimate ( I think they're b*stards) , so maybe I'm just lucky.

i have norton anti virus and i haven,t had any probs viewing the cam

Have installed new version of Norton(2005) today, I can now see web-cam without turning off norton firewall.
