Firefox Users Denied Aid
Just read this in the December Australian PC Users
Firefox Users Denied Aid
Survivors of August's Hurricane Katrina discovered that unless they could find a PC running IE6 with JavaScript enabled, they couldn't register on the US Government's Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) Web site for aid relief.
Instead, Mac, Linux and Firefox-using refugees were all directed to call Microsoft. No word yet on whether Microsoft will airdrop emergency supplies of Windows XP to survivors, as confusion continues over how US Government can make essential services accessible to handicapped people, but not to non-Microsoft users.

This is for real, or another one of those urban myths???
