Anyone any experience of "www.phuket-computers.com" ?
Prices seem good so I was wondering if anyone had had problems.
I don't know the company, but looking at the site I noticed that all desktop computers were based on Pentium III processors. The P-III was state of the art in 1999. Whether that technology is appropriate today depends on what the application is. Besides the speed limitations of the processor other components are limited too, such as hard disk, memory, no CD writer, etc. Personally I would not entertain a P-III as a home or business computer.
I don't know what the price level in Thailand for computers, however, 5000 baht sounds high for that old technology. In the US a good entry level computer will generally set you back 10K baht.
Good point. But I was looking at RAM: DDR(400) 512MB for 2084 baht. That shop under Big C has it for 2550 baht. Quite a difference. So I was wondering if you got piss-poor service or re-boxed second hand goods or something.
