google earth great new web site....
try google earth satalite image web sight "awsome" but i think you need cable modem and does not work for MAC enjoy

Its amazing software..
I have to admit I really like maps and atlas's anyway but this is just superb.. You can zoom in and see my mates swimming pool on Kathu !!! You can actually see the tyre tracks (2 of) in a dirt road behind the Patong mountain.. Its insane.. ALso give NASA's worldwind a try.. resolution not so good but also has wind pattersn and other more climate based things on there.. More in depth application I feel but googles kicks ass for the resolution.. I have spent hours flying all over the globe, navigating round cities I know, etc...
