can anyone help me??
i spent over a hour yesterday to try and re size some pics for my thread(here we go again i hear)but the fukcers kept comin out blurred.
i tried re size ing them by making a percentage cutdown,blurred,then i tried taking the pixel size down,blurred.i mean they looked alright ,but its shame it ruins a good picture.
is their certain pixel sizes you should use??????
dont know whats going on,posted many pics on my thread(round the world tour),and keep havin various turnouts and always seem to have problems.

im a just a thick bastard,
any help would be much appreciated.

get irfan view..

open image to change..

CTRL R or (menu) image resize

set image set new size (800x600 is usually ok or 640x480 if you like) and keep the preserve aspect ratio checkbox.

Can also be done in the 'standard sizes' section..

You can also do file Batch conversion rename..

open a folder.. Add ALL the pics you wish to change..

Set a new output folder (so as not to overwrite your current pics !!!!!)

Advanced options..

Set new size.. Keep preserve aspect ratio checkbox.. Done

Then click start button and whole directories of files can be batch processed fast..

I never used Irfan but I tooked a quick look now.

1. CTRL-R (Or choose Resize/Resample... under image menu)
Set size width to 800 pixels.

2. SHIFT-S (Or choose Sharpen under mage menu)

I saved as .jpg with the standard quality setting (80) and got 96Kb. If you pic get more than 100Kb, lower the quality setting.

The result look fine and no blurring.

met a beutiful camdodian woman,dark skinned, must have some african background,lovely,were heading down to shinoukville for a couple of days,i'll keep u posted
