Firstly apologies for using the forum as a platform for this however:
If there are any BM's who are ex-employees of any of the major offshore oil exploration companies, Western Geophysical, Geco Prakla, Veritas, PGS etc or any other BM who has a survey, engineering or electronics background, WesternGeco are currently hiring mid carear employees for work on their offshore vessels worldwide. Work schedule is 6 weeks on and six weeks off (all paid) so if you are sitting on your bum in Phuket looking for a way to a least spend half the year in LOS and work for the other then this is your answer. Note that there are a lot of guys currently living in Phuket doing this at the moment...( I did this for 15 years whilst living in Phuket so trust me its a good lifestyle.)
