Help needed... looking for Sound Electrician

Hey Guys,

This may get put into Idle Chit Chat section but I'm needing some help. I want to get a buzzer that's connected to a megaphone so if someone pushes the button, a loud buzz goes off. I want to be able to change the sounds to something else at different times.

Does anyone know where I can go that they may be able to help me.... or does anyone do this kind of thing themselves?

I know, very boring topic but HELP!!!!!!

Cheers Alfie, wanting it for a production game at a festival. When people hit a buzzer button, it plays a short sound of only 3 or 5 seconds....

Cheap it could be done with a curcuit with pre recorded sounds.. I think you can get recordable doorbells that would probably be your cheapest option even with sourcing them and import..

Pretty easy to rig something like this up with X10 home automation controllers and a PC interface.. PC sounds played on an X10 input.. X10 can be triggered in many many different ways with a simple switch being the easist.

Sampler would be expensive for this task and would still need a midi command or code to trigger.. Could be done but I think you would end up over paying for the solution and having studio CD quality samples doesnt sound like your goal.
