Finally making the jump
Well that time has come. I just quit the horrid world of Investment banking in New York and have decided to move to Phuket. I will be arriving on March 28 having sold or givin away all of my belongings here in the states. I have decided to give myself 5 months to try out living in Phuket and if it does not live up to hype I have a job lined up in Tokyo starting in August to fall back on. I have also signed up for a TEFL course and recieved my non immigrant B multiple entry visa so that I will be somewhat "legit" while living in Phuket. The reason I am writting is that I am in need of a place to stay while in Phuket. I am looking for a nice furnished huse with a pool in either Patong or Kamala. If anyone can please provide me with contacts or suggestions I will appreciate it greatly. Also Dodger I see that you are settled in Kamala now so any info you might have will be appreciated. I'm not sure if you remember me but we met last November ( I'm the young African American from New York). Nicke if you have any contacts also please let me know as I am arriving next Tuesday the 28th and will most likely stay at the C&N for a couple of nights. Thanks in advance for any help and the first Singha's are on me

I envy you. Only 3 years older then me with everything lined up. A job in Tokyo to fall back on! christ! thats not falling back, thats falling up.
