ranong visa

just a comment on these visa/visa run.... since living and staying in thailand what a pain in the ***... all else is very good...

a couple of questions.

i am looking at going to ranong... don't really want to take one of the mini bus services because not coming back to phuket. have in the past and used the one at yorkshire. very good service.

wanting to go to ranong then hua hin and off to bkk... has anybody done this... i did check at the bus station and it is a 6 hour ride. don't remember but i don't think the mini bus took that long. are there one way mini buses? or will i have enough time to do a border crossing if i do take a bus? any help appreciated.. thanks

Problem with the double decker is its so slow..

About 2 hours each way slower than the minibus from yorkshire.. 4 hours more time messing about.. No thanks..

Or take a normal bus from the bus station in Phuket Town, leave every 30 minutes. ~200 baht for oneway ticket.

So why not take a bus, stay overnight at Andaman Club (The last ferry go 17:30 or 18:00) and next day when relaxed take another bus to Hua Hin.
