Thailand Expats

I'm just gonna throw this out there and hope someone can help me out. Does anyone know of any barbers in phuket who can cut black hair(African American). I'm not looking for anything crazy like corn rolls or a perm. Just a simple trim and lineup. In the states I usually just go to the places in the hood and try to avoid fancy saloons and so forth. I'm sure that most places that have clippers can do the same thing for me in Thailand. Havent noticed too many black expats running around phuket, but if anyone knows of someone perhaps you could direct me towards them. Anyway if anyone has any barbers they can reccomend please advise as I am arriving in Phuket next week.

YOU COULD USE MY BARBER...TOP OF BANGLA NEXT TO THE PIZZA COMPANY...........ASK FOR SUMARIE....SHES VERY GOOD !!!!!!

I will stop by and see if she can hook up my hair...If all else fails I will try out a couple of places and see who does the best...

LOL busted there IJ !!!

BTW any good on the shave ?? Do they pre do with hot towels ?? I used to go and get a face shave done sometimes but asians dont appreciate that thick blue beard needs to soften first.. Best shaves of my life used to be a turkish joint (they understand blue beard !!) in Holland.. Turkish coffee and a superb shave.. Pure luxury..

Quality, 3 people have replied and 2 of them have zero hair

i dont really like getting my 3 monthly shave done in LOS, i just dont feel safe with my girl speaking thai to the woman who is going to do my face with a cut throat razor, just makes me nervous.

Just grow the afro GUnit, i think it looks very cool

IT WAS 120 BAHT WHEN I LAST WENT THERE.....A LITTE EXPENSIVE BUT WORTH IT..........

JONNY when you go to pattaya i recomend the blue hawai pub barber on soi yodasak dont know about the quality of the shave but the extra curricular activities which happened were much more interesting than the usual old magazines you get to read in hairdressers 5555555555

was only at the pizza company today having some nosh, deliciouso indeed !!

GUnit, there are three fairly good salons in Central (toni & guy,vidal sassoon & cant remember), all stylists were thai but Duncs had his hair cut there and they did a pretty good job, you can choose the level of experience of the stylist, each costing more, before any of you say it no I didn't get mine done it was windy enough outside to sort me out before we got into central.

Nope Faulty, I've had everything shaved off. It helps in my new fitness regime! I swim through the water faster now in my Thong! Less drag and all that!
