We opened as usual but with some lights turned off and no selling of alchohol, at 10:00 the DJ started to play music and we turned on all lights and the sign and started to sell. 9 pm there was only maybe half of the bars in Soi Eric open and only soft drinks.
I will definitely not be the first bar to start selling beers, but if most of Bangla and other sois start selling I can do the same, as the police have to lock up Bangla bars and first half of Soi Eric before reaching MTB.

Excuse my ignorance...but was the reason for not selling alcohol because of Budah Day? Or some other reason?

Sod's Law- we play by the rules this time after getting busted and the cops have no interest. So much for getting bubbled last time and welcom to the intricacies of thai law and interpretation. Still not taking a chance tho- Faultys closed again 1800 22 Apr to 1400 24 Apr jut in case we get touted on again. Son Nam Na.
