Been living here for about 10mths now on Non-immigrant O long stay visa. Everything is going fantastic but just wondering when this visa expires how do I renew it without leaving the country. Any advice would be greatly appreciated

You have to visit immigration and ask for extension of your current visa, I think you should do it minimum 4 weeks before expire.

You need to be more specific..
On what basis was your non imm o issued ??
If it was on the basis of marriage or retirement then you can get it extended (as you should have been every 90 days instead of doing visa runs) by showing the right amount of money and the papers dealing with the marriage / retirement.
If its a non imm O on the basis of visiting friends and family then you need to leave the country and in all probability go back to your home country or at least not a local SE Asian consulate for a new application.
If you have 2 passports theres a couple of little loopholes you can exploit.
As your 37 I am guessing it cannot be retirement.. If its marriage then the extension is the same as your 90 day extensions unless your not showing them the 800k you need per annum to stay ??

I must confess my details were just created for this forum. My visa is a retirement visa and i have been going to immigration every three months for the formality but it is the actual visa that is expiring. If it is only a matter of having 800k that is no problem but what paperwork do I need

Why did you do that, pretend to be 37 ??? what else is just created for the forum???
I personally do not like this nor the obvious false data such as being 2 etc because I like to have a few basic details of the person I am replying to if I have not met them as this can change the basis and wording of my reply.
However someone putting age 2 is clearly joking, someone putting age 37 when they are over 50 isn't doing it for a joke, so just wondered why you changed your details for this forum????

Nothing devious my Thai regularly checks my normal email account and when setting this one up just pulled some numbers out of the air. At the time didn't consider it to be a big deal as noone uses their real name what diff would a DOB make. If its going to be a personal issue for some of you i think you are taking it all too seriuosly. The thread was a genuine request for info nothing more nothing less

Quite simply if over 50 on a retirement visa a different set of rules apply to you than being 37 on a imm o visa, starting to see how falsifying your details leads to incorrect advice?? surely a forum name (not being your own) no email address and general info would not lead your girfriend to seeing everything you post?

As I said, ask immigration for an extension of stay, they handle that too if you meet their requirements. They can extend with another year.
Also take a look at your visa, if it states that extension is not permitted then you have to leave Thailand and apply for a new visa in your home country or Thai embassy elsewhere.

So what have you been doing every three months so far ??
You could (requirements having been met of course) been extending and reporting at immigration instead of visa running..

Yes that's exactly what I have been doing. I just go to immigration in Bangkok fill in a few details on a form which they stamp and put in my passport with no cost involved. That's why I want to renew this visa, it's multiple entry and no border runs required
