Phuket "Sports-Club" Card?!

Hi Gents!

Im going down to Patong again in August and love to play Golf everyday. Since the Club Green Fees are quite steep i was wondering if there is somekind of a Sport Club where the members get special rates on the Club Fees. As im down in Patong at least 3 times a year i think this would be a good option. If anybody knows please let me know.

One at Blue Canyon if you have 875,000 to "squander".

Theres a card called a PEGS (Phuket expat golf society ??) card that saves a large amount from your green fees..

All my golf playing mates have one.. Pays for itself in 3 rounds I think..

Supposed to be for residents only but they asked no questions IIRC.

Thanks for the reply. I dont think that a membership at the golf clubs there is the only way to get around the green fee costs. Anyways thanks for the info!

I Nicke once told me theres a somekind of club where members can get cheaper prices for all kind of activities in and around phuket island. Cant remember doh. ?!

I am a member of PEGS myself, pretty good discount on some courses.

You can also buy green fee tickets to get cheaper green fee, there is one shop in kathu on the way to Phuket Country Club.

I know Loch Palm sells montly memberships that saves you money, althought they had a limit on how many times you could play in one month if I remember correctly.

Hi!

I found the PEGS Website yesterday and applied for a Membership there. As im not there all year round (you have to show 4 month minimum) i wonder if that works out for me. Otherwise i will check with the green fee tickets. Thing is i dont want to play the same club over and over again. Want to see them all !
