I have been up, down, all over in Patong the last two weeks trying to find a place to play pool similar to some places in BKK. Where when you play the winner keeps the table. Good tables. Prefer the American style table. Is there such a place in Patong? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

In the past most pool bars was that way, a bar with just one table, guess it changed with the arrival of all the pool halls full of tables. Did you check the bars at Soi Patong Resort? Opposite Soi Seadragon.

Know that in Amigo's the winner kept the table.

I remember the last time i was in there (admittedly 3 or 4 months ago), there was a rather manly kathoey that kept winning all the games and never got off the table

Not really, you have to pay for the pool in Rio so its up to you how long you stay at the table.

Dragon used to have a free table where the winner stayed on, was infront of their toilets but its gone now.

yep rio does winner stays on when it gets busier,u can have the table to yourself,but i found when many people come in to play they change it,use to be some good competetion in there,couple of thai guys get in there.

havent been for a while but bier kushte,soi bangla kept one table for winner stays on,may have changed.

i know aussie bar also,IMHO,they have the better tables(euro style)but american style is always fun to play with the girls,55555.

Gonzo bar,didi's(soi sansabai)also,but for the OP maybe not the style of table u like to play on.
