Hi All
New to the board so hope that I am posting on the correct forum

Hubby has been offered a job in Phuket ( Dusit Laguna Resort)

Can anyone tell us what a good Package would be??

Cost of living in Phuket??

Housing??
Children all grown up so no education required

What is the law on Spouses working in Phuket

All info will be greatly received

As far as your questions go:

Depends on the job he's been offered - to get a work permit he will be getting at least 50,000 Baht/month. If its Laguna will you be based on site or have housing allowance?

You can rent a 2 bed house in that area from 20,000 Baht/month.

As far as cost of living - depends on your lifestyle - do a search as there are alreday many threads on cost of living here.

If your husband has a WP - you are NOT entitled to work, you have to get a job and apply in your own right. But you can get your visa based on your marriage.

Hubby has been offered a job by Dusit Laguna Resort
We are wondering of someone could help help us with some info

Had one reply on the Newbie forum but thought maybe this wiould be a better place to ask

1 Good Package what do you think

2 Housing (and any estate agents websites for renting long term 2 years or more)

3 Daily living expenses (satelite, phone, food, internet, entertainment

All info would be greatly received
