He wasn't looking and neither was I

Yesterday I'm driving my motorbike from Bang Tao down to Patong for Ead's birthday at Mai Thai bar. I was low on gas and it was around midnight and not many stations open so I'm not looking at the road but on the side to get gas. Well, a medium size cat walks right in front of me and I have no time to stop, I run him over. Wow, I have never run over anything in my life never even an accident in all my years of driving. Both wheels I feel they just go over him thump, thump I was going around 50 kilometers an hour. Needless to say I was really bummed. I stop, say a little prayer and keep going what can I do. I can't find his owner, they don't have animal hospitals and I can't scape him up at 12:00pm.
So later I'm in Kamala about 5 kilo from Patong and I stop by a noodle place and ask some diners where a station is. One guys is in the middle of his noodles and he jumps up and says follow me. I'm impressed these people are so sweet but I tell him to just point me in the direction as I don't want to disturb his meal. So I'm going in the direction he says I can't find it so I stop in a tiny little roadside bar and I ask. Joy a 21 year old cutie jumps on my bike and says I'll show you. She dosen't know me at all but just wants to help. We get gas so I drop her off at the bar and what the hell I have a quick Hieniken buy her an orange juice and then I'm off. This is Paradise!!! Still bummed about the cat though.
