Any expats in Phuket can recommend a business/businesses in Phuket who sell restaurant equipment. A web site would be great as well.

There is a decent shop near Phuket City - forget the name as its all in Thai.

As you take the road from Kathu past Central then X over the junction and on the RHS of the road about 30 yards past the lights you will see the shop. It has new and secondhand stuff there - from refrigeration to commercial food processing units.

Not the easiest bunch to negotiate with - take a Thai speaker with you - but I found was the best pricing fro refrigeration.

they do have a very good selection of equipment
and you are right about negotiating

also, if you buy something from them, be very specific in the delivery instructions
but i would recommend the place also

There is a great shop called "75" which is on the road between Chalong Cirlce and Phuket town on Chaofa Road (I think it's called). It's the main road and on the left hand side if you are going FROM chalong.

They have two or three floors of stuff which has new and used equipment. Everything you can think of. There's another shop (Thai) that is just past Central, nearly opposite the soccer stadium which has a bunch of new and used stuff, they can also manufacture certain things as they have a steel shop. We've bought plenty of stuff from here and a lot cheaper too, unfortunately I don't know the name but it looks like a junk shop but it's not....

Dingo's is talking about a place called IQ, I have used them alot and can recomend. Just a bit past central on the right coming from Patong.

There is also Lucky Kitchen on bypass road and of course "75" near Chalong who can be real expensive. Depends on what equipment you are looking for there's a couple of small places in Phuket town as well.

Don't know what equipment you are looking for but there was an ad in The Nation(Phuket gazette section)last week.Restaurant must be closing down everything for sale.

Think that was my advert, I've bought the lease on a shop which used to be a restaurant and need to shift all the equipment and furniture - I'm supposed to have a buyer already but haven't heard from him and he was supposed to pay/pickup on Sunday/Monday. I'll repost here if he doesn't turn up by this Staurday.
