Contribute to local English TV program on Phuket Phang Nga & Krabi

The new English TV program "Andaman News" for Phuket, Phang Nga and Krabi on Channel 11 every weekday at 8.30-9.00 am with local news, reports and interviews, invites you to watch and later send in questions for the Phuket Governor after his first live interview on Monday 26th April, by email to AndamanNews@yahoo.com. We will ask them at his next live interview.
You can tune in to watch on the local channel dial in Phuket, Phang Nga and Krabi, not through cable TV.

The editor is also looking for young student reporters to take turns at recording and appearing on the programs, with news about schools, clubs, hobbies, kids etc.

The editor also welcomes news of interesting stories, personalities or VIPs to interview, and upcoming events to mention or feature, press releases, videos, etc.. Some clubs have already been featured, but any new events or issues are welcome.

Another new weekly program “Along the Coast” at 8.00-8.30am, starting soon, will also feature nice places to visit and products to try from around the Andaman coast region, so genuine recommendations from tourism operators, producers and viewers are most welcome.

The English programs are a good way for foreigners to better understand the local Thai news and lifestyle, and for Thais to learn English in a more relevant and topical form.

You can now also listen to the live audio track of TV Channel 11's "Andaman News" on Radio Thailand FM96.75 in Phuket, at the same time as Channel 11 or Television of Thailand, Phuket, is broadcasting, in English at 8.30-9.00 am every weekday with local news, reports and interviews.

You can tune in to TV Channel 11 on the local channel VHF dial in Phuket, Phang Nga and Krabi, not through cable TV at present.

I would love to see local news in English but I think most people use cable TV and also 8:30 is too early for me.

I would suggest you send the programme in the afternoon too or make it available on internet for those who miss or cant watch that early.
