Some of the guys have been talking about a new system done by CAT -CDMA
4000 Baht for the gear and 590 per month.
I don't know jack about it but Gollum just walked in and I asked him.Teamwork.

Sorry to say, you dont have many options. TOT is better than nothing. Or you can try the CAT wireless thing but it also seems to go downhill pretty fast.

thanks for fast answer, the problem i really need fast connection, actually i using cat 2800 per month for 2 mb , i use newsgroups and play online a lot , so i need a good ping , and a fast connection, 2 mb allow me to download at 212 kps i can do a movie in 1 hour , looking for good internet option , i afraid not so many can be possible, i called island internet in kathu last friday, they said can do , but the price is pretty high , the only way is share with some neighbors, amazing thailand , amazing internet , if we can have more than tot, like in europe many providers with good offers and cheap prices with good connection
so i hope to find a solution, if anyone had this experience in kathu thanks to let me know how it work

i use cat , and i am very happy for that right now, cause i never had , or maybie a few times some problems but solve very quickly , they came sometimes to my house, everything was make good, so i scare to find something different with other providers, just the option tt&t, cat cmda not so fast , so i dont use this option, and i really dont want tot, i just ask some help to someone who had that experience with other provider, to make the good choice that it, advices for people can be very helpfull

To thaivid
I moved to kathu 7 months ago, asked about tt&t same answer no numbers available but it's more that the phone lines are not even installed in this area.
Used tot that was in the house, always round there office sorting out problems with it cancalled after two months.
Island tech in kathu wanted 10,000 for a direct line from there office then 3,500 per month for a fast speed connection but they said could not guarantee 100% reliable.
Just use the Cat Usb connection now, only about 2 days not connection in the last 4 months, fast enough for what i need but maybe not for you.

If you write a summarize thread about the internet situation I will make it sticky, as you said, a common question.
