USPS Surface Mail Option Eliminated! Call for Action!

Hello guys!

I am writing in this to ask for support in signing a petition to bring back the

international surface mail service (ground shipping) from the United States Postal Service (USPS).

On May 14th, the USPS dropped the international surface mail and all economy mail services.

I have created a petition, you can go here

What I have realized is that this elimination is severely going to hurt humanitarian aid groups such as the Peace Corps as well as book companies, expatriates, students, small businesses, the military and lots more.

Please support us by signing the petition and passing it to everyone in your group, organization, company or church who you think benefits from this service or who would like to see the service return.

I am hoping to get them to turn their decision around, or create a new service that will benefit everyone who uses the economy services.

Just incase there is any question about the legitamacy about this thread, I am posting another message here.

All who want to discuss this issue, please feel free to post your opinions.

The above petition is mostly for American citizens living overseas, but the elimination of the service also affects those who order products from the US or who have family in the US that send things to you.

Snopes doesn't have your petition in archives,usually they say petitions on the net don't work....this ? meant I looked to see if they Ok'd u !

Hi Wizard,

Are you refering to snopes dot com? Where they publishes myths, hoaxes and ubran legends? As you probably are already aware this is not a hoax, you can read the information provided in the links on the petition.

What surprises me is they say that online petitions don't work, unless petition online is fabricating their results, many people have succeeded in getting things changed.

Why would they need to ok me? And did you get a response from them yet?
