3. proof of relationship ( pictures, phone bills, money transfers)

4. accommodation info

5. finances

6. flights n insurance info

SPONSORSHIP LETTER

ACCOMMODATION LETTER

get your mum to write a letter saying there's enough room in your house to accommodate your gf. + copy of mortgage statement, picture of house.

Sponsorship letter!

To whom it concern (UK embassy)

You and your gf information, birthday, security number, passport number, adress, status, etc. And mention in the first section short the purpose of visit, and she will leave when visa ends.

Dates you spend together.
example 31.08.05-23.06.05

How you meet, and where!

What you and your gf did together

Where you have been together

How you comunicate
english, telephone, sms, yahoo etc

Sumary!

Your family and friends will velcome her, and to help out so she will be welcomed etc

And explenation what the purpose for the visit, if you are planning to get married in the future, get better to know each other etc

And then thank you for your time, we really care for each other, and would like to have the uppertunity to test our relationship in my country, and from there se how it goes. Just make sure they understand she is not getting married, or getting to work. All together mine was 3 pages, and it worked well for schengen visa! Just dont lie, they will catch you. Your gf will maybe be questioned, so therefor make sure you and her know what to say!

Good luck

I remember reading a story on stickman about a young guy who was still living with his parents when he brought his bg home to live. When he was out working during the day his family would treat her like shyte. She ended up going back to LOS before her visa exp and breaking up with him.

LIL's right, be a man and rent ur own place

to rent a flat would cost me £800 a month for fukc all, im better off saving my money for a deposit for a house then just treading water renting.

A 2 bed bungalow go's for about £160,000 around my way. to rent a caravan costs £150 a week. it's expensive. im not rich like some.

there's loads of people my age in the same boat. the government needs to help out first time buyers.

Not knowing your parents, still it's quite a gamble to bring the girl directly into your family home without standing on your own feet.

My wife had a peek into that post while I was reading it and just reacted: "Oh no please". She knew some girls who even have been sent home before the visa expired. It's not going to be easy I only can guess.

But well, if you really have very cool parents, it's still not easy to get the girl over. It would really depend for how long you know her. A 2 weeks holiday fling would be different. How longer you know her and can proof this, the better chances you have.

To give you an idea of how much information would be needed to know from eachother, I'll attach a document which helps the girl to talk to the immigration officer in case she needs to go through an interview before getting the "holiday visa".

Dazza, I don't understand why you post in this thread asking for help, then a few hrs later, post this thread asking for an visa agent ?

I'm sure you are desperate to get your girl back to the UK, but why not use the resources given in this thread?

About you living with your parents, I did not meant to dig you there. It certainly is your choice. As you mentioned it helps you save for purchasing a home. Good for you. It is the idea that the government has to give this and give that, especially, since you have found a suitable method to save for your future home on your own. I am of the opinion that the further the government stays away from peoples lifes the better. I just went unemployed for 2 months and refused to take anything from the government, even though I was entitled. I don't expect you to agree with my point of view, but it is what it is.

So again, my apologies if the "living with you parents" came across as a dig; it was the combination of having the means and still expecting the government to pave the way.

Having the government subsidising home ownership would be getting something for nothing (paid for by tax payers)

Ive also been entitled to collect 'free money' as its called round my way
but never have, ive always managed to get by without my governments help.

The government has acknowledged it has to do more for 1st time buyers, the housing market is just too expensive. The house's they build are going to key workers, then immigrants and lastly people like me.

Having the government subsidising home ownership would be getting something for nothing (paid for by tax payers

i surpose i agree with u on that mr dk.

anyway no hard feelings

Keep going, you may find house prices falling in the future if interest rates keep going up, so a deposit will come in handy.

John, Sorry this turned into a dig at you.. It really (honestly) wasnt intended to be..

I just read the 'get your mum' line.. and smiled.. Dazza doesnt list how old he is in his profile but I can picture some 50 year old fella, calling his 75 year old mum up, asking her to write him a invite..

It wasnt a knock at ya..

We got that same problem here in that loads of people my age cant afford to buy a house on thier own...I was living at home until recently but got an apartment(renting) as my tgf is coming over...

A visa agent once told me that living with your parents wouldnt be the best thing...
