Breakfast Spots in Chalong Area
Well, I was out-and-about early this morning (7:30-ish) running an errand and suddenly had a craving for a decent breakfast of pancakes, sausage, and toast. Drove all the way down Chaofa West from Central to the Circle and then left on Chaofa East but couldn't find a spot that looked like a likely candidate. Even Patong's Bakery was closed (seems like they'd do good business if open in the mornings -- best bakery I've found in southern Phuket). And, I couldn't find a single motorbike roti vendor, either...
Can any BM's recommend a eatery in the area (I live near the TOT center on Chaofa West) which at least serves pancakes in the morning?

What time does the green man at chalong open? had one of their 'full monty' brekkies on sunday, best I've had on the entire island. Only thing that let it down was the sausage, bit too white, tasteless and issanish for my tastes. Prefer the lincolnshire spicy sausage they serve in Kamalalala bakery, but there again for us sausage connosoirs it is a little bit special, and before you say it, yes I know I havn't tried witney's!!!!!

Don's Cafe in Rawai serves good food but it may be a bit far. Not sure what time they open either.

Friendship Beach just before the Serenity Terraces site on the left as you are heading to Rawai. Nice breakfast and great coffee. The setting is good too with a view out over Chalong Bay but best when the tide is in.

A bit off-topic, perhaps, but previously said Lighthouse filled their Heinz catchup bottles with-- gasp!-- an imposter. Led to severe (and almost instantaneous) intestinal distress.
OTOH, this might be topical. Here in gawd's country one is expected to slather catchup onto one's hashbrowns.

Is Fatty's really open for breakfast? If so, that would be my first choice. I love their dinners...

With the change of hands, so did the quality...drastically for the worse. Use to be a favorite spot of mine but now would recommend against eating there. I was getting sick and figured out it was from the Lighthouse. At least I've been well since I stopped eating there.
Nakita's in rawai is a really nice spot. Don't think they do early breakfast.
You could try one of the hotels, but it would be expensive.

Dons Mall opens at 8.30 am, but the German Resturant just up the same road a bit and turn left a Mimmis and go about 300m on left is definatley open at 8am, perhaps earlier.
