Dan, it's not really a case of which language schools will enable you to get an education visa. You are the person who needs to apply for the visa, not the school. To qualify for an ED visa, the school must be licenced by the government, (as all private language schoolsl must be), and the school needs to provide you with a copy of their licence, as well as details of the course. With this information, (as well as additional documents about yourself etc), you can apply for the visa which will be provided on a 90 day basis. Every 90 days, you'll need to get a letter from the school that confirms that you are still attending classes. You'll then be issued with a further 90 day visa, (ie, you do not need to do 90 day visa runs).

Additionally, the rules state that the course has to be full-time. In practice, full-time by Thai definition seems to be about 1 day per week minimum! But I doubt if you will be issued an ED visa for attendance of 1 hour per week!

This is a summary of the visa requirements. But please remember that the immigration officers can interpret the rules any way they see fit! So in practice, you might be asked for more documents/different requirements/no documents at all!

If you study at a government college, then the document requirements are not so stringent. Why not check out courses at Prince of Songkhla University in Phuket?
