hallo sparkle!

Hi Perky, thanks for your posts so far too....is not too easy to get info on what life is like for expat girls here, it is out there, but not a lot....so again thanks for sharing.
the more expat girls i meet the more i realise that most of them are having a ball, and wished they had come over earlier. i would have liked to know that before i came. i am sure we will catch up some time soon.

Hi Sparkle--you're absolutely right about the guys in Patong. Very welcoming.
2 of us girls came to Patong a year ago to try to make a go of living there. Visa problems and such sent us back to the US, but the folks couldn't have been nicer. Get out to the bars as much as you can and chat everybody up. It's amazing how much attention and free drinks farang lady expats will get  Good luck and enjoy!

Eur11 is the most active female poster as m26 says, I would guess that as far as most experienced female BM though - Twisted Sister would top the list with 15+ years of Patong experience .. (shes a mad Aussie Hasher too).

Whoops too late just told them, but at least you can save this post to favourites and read it back when you cannot find them only 10 minutes after putting them there!!! Heh you missed out big time tonight, popped in to Phil's bar and ordered a mince beef and onion pie with, real chips and beans and ....................and (kept you waiting for the bestest bit)...................home made gravy!!!! don't need to wash my plate after as I've just licked it clean!!!!!

As far as the putting your stuff in the fridge thing goes, I found this trick during my time in Patong (ladies-this is for you). Put your bras in there, on purpose. When you're all sticky and hot and icky this feels really good!!
I've never frozen a drivers' license, but I'm sure it's just a matter of time... Last edited by alliegator : 03-10-2007 at 05:53.
