im in the middle of going through the prrocces of a visa 4 mt thai gf.Ive got my pay slips from the last 6 months do i need a letter off my boss 2 say i work there will the pay slips b enough

Best to get more info/docs than minimum required - when I applied for my Mrs I got a letter from my boss and HR.

G'day Dazza, i am not sure what the state of play is in the UK with visa process, but when you try to get one for Australia, the authorities want to know everything about your relationship, past and your future intentions etc. and I mean everything! You need to have the mind set that they will make it as hard as they can for you so you will need proof of past continuous contact with you gf, e-mails, letters faxes, photos with date stamps previous visits you have made to los, anyting you can think of that will prove your case is legitimate.

Same in the UK nowadays, get as much evidence as you have about a continuous relationship and tak it ALL with you.

Immigration in the UK has reached epedemic proportions and unless you have watertight evidence its going to be very difficult.

My mate who went through the process to get his wife here does agency work so no the letter from employer is not a deal breaker. But DO collect a sh1tload of stuff together for this including informal paperwork like photos, emails, receipts, telephone bill showing calls to thailand, etc.
