Thai Drivers
Just got a thai driving licence today.
now i know why so many can't drive especially car drivers.
i didn't need a practical test as i have a vaild international permit with me.
Had to wait for a worker to get a new bike licence so she had to retake her practical motor bike test.
they test the car drivers on a one way course smaller then the patong go kart track for 10 minutes then they have to stop near a make shift curb i show out 6 cars three hit the test curb.
the cars drive for 10 minutes at 10 miles an hour same with the motor bike. i could run fater then they were driving.
then they pass.
no practical on the real road, with motor bike coming at you from same side of road or tuk tuk pulling out of juntion or the countless other mad things you see on the road.
No wonder you see 4x4 being driving up patong hill coming to a complete stop when the driver doesn't know to put the automatic into 2nd gear, just put it in drive and thats it they know.
must have passed there test, about 12 motor bikes and 6 cars in 25 minutes i was waiting.
