Thanks for the post. Judging by the replies, there is a degree of numbness out here!!

My own take is that it is not Thai women/bg exclusive.

Western women take their husbands/bf to the cleaners, lie, cheat and decieve too so whatever the nationality of the woman the old adage hell hath no fury like a woman wanting cash should appply.

Bitter?? MOI?? Never.....

I have heard enough of these stories and stuff about western women and i have had these experinces myself. I wonder how many of these guys knew if there GF really liked or loved them. I find if a girl is crazy about you then she will try and behave to keep you happy and keep you around. Thats how the man gets all the power.
My live-in on my last trip found out quickly what pis$ed me off and learned because she knew that i would toss her out for good if it happend again.

Hi so-cal - should you be reading this? Yes because you have a right to all the info to inform your behavior. Are all thai women like this? No! - as the OP points out they are in a minority. However this behavior is far from rare so;

1. Be on your guard a little in relationships, dont take everything on face value, watch for warning signs, remember trust is built not automatic.
2. But dont be overly cynical or it will poison your relationships with all women and deprive you of glorious opportunities for wonderful experiences.

the only reason i ask is because in a few years i was thinking of taking one of these girls a little more serious. I might not be able to come to thailand so thats why. All this info does make a guy cynical though.
