Health Insurance
Ive read some previous posts on the subject but, wondered if there is any new information on health plans in LOS.
As Im coming for an extended stay it seems prudent to get some kind of insurance and is it advisable to include gf and child on policy?

Hey Dennis,
I've heard ING is pretty good and not too expensive. It also covers you worldwide so would be good with the travel that you do.
They are located opposite Lotus in Phuket Town if you want to go check them out.

I have a few (What's the word?) contacts! I dunno! Let me know when I get back and I will put you in contact. Worth having medical insurance in my opinion.
You never know, at 3 am, whose bike you will cadge a lift off next!

I am using Bupa and so are many others, but I cant really say if they are better than competition as I have no experience in this field.
Unlike Swedish ones they DO have a lot of exceptions. So for Swedish people I would say use one back home, offered to people living max 5 years abroad.
My BUPA insurance is valid worldwide with exception of US, and covers for SOS if needed. (Emergency flight back to your home country)
