Heres a question
I know everyone prob a bit sick of visa questions, but I got to ask B visa was coming to an end So went to KL get me knew one with papers from the accountant, at the emabassy they would only give me single entry I said I have to go out for visa runs and they gave me two entries would not give me more said I was a stamp missing in my workpermit But it was still valid for a month the permit , rang me accountant and she said no prob can get multiple entry here in Phuket which she did but what the F#@k was only for 3mths and she wants 3,8000 for it.....Is she trying to pull the wool over make a few extra BHT , I think with this I might have to get that multiple stamp every three mths , Jesus sometime this country, I love living here but is so fustrating just when you have things sorted doing thing legal they try and shaft yea better of working illegal

No sounds like the local option is a re-entry permit which will give you the ability to leave and come back with the same duration of stay, not get you another 90 days.
If the visa people gave you a single entry for 3 months they cannot make it a multiple entry 1 year incountry.
this again comes down to visa issueing v duration of stay, local immigration can only play with the duration of stay or change visa classes.
Your options are to travel further afield for a multiple entry, fulfill the ever changing local SEA embassys requirements for a 1 year multiple entry, or get an incountry 1 year extension to your duration of stay.

So in SEA you can only apply for multiple entry once then you have to go out of Asia

Or fullfill their requirements for a multi..
They do not give multis in SEA unless you have ALL the requirements (which varies from embassy to embassy) which are valid work permit, often tax history etc.. They dont just give you a multi because you ask for one no. Home countries often will (simple letter of invite).
Oz is a cheap flight away.. They give multis to walk ins there.

Yeah.. I always feel they make the barrier of entry to paying taxes to them too high, part of what makes so many people just work illegally is that its such a hassle to legalize.
